Weapons are getting into Sudan, aid is not. You can help change that.

Sudan is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. Over 4 million children have been displaced. Hospitals have been bombed. Food convoys blocked. Lifesaving aid delayed or denied.

Yet, while children go hungry, weapons from Canada still get through.

According to a 2025 investigation by the Globe and Mail & CBC, equipment made by Canadian companies are still fueling the violence in this crisis. Murky export controls and loopholes mean Canadian weapons and parts end up in conflict zones like Sudan.

At the same time, brave frontline responders struggle to deliver food and medical supplies, blocked by deliberate obstruction with no global accountability.

When aid is denied in conflict, children are harmed the most.

You can help urge the Government of Canada to act now. Sign the petition to:

  1. Ensure children receive humanitarian aid: Canada has the chance to rally the world to defend children’s right to lifesaving aid-by leading a new effort to stop those who block help from getting through
  2. Close the loopholes: Launch an independent review of Canada’s export laws, increase transparency, and introduce tight end-use verification to ensure Canadian-made arms components don’t fuel harm.

This is not about taking sides, but about taking responsibility. We can protect children from harm and ensure that help can reach them.
